Brandi passante became a star on reality TV after her appearance in the A&E reality series "Storage Wars". The show featured her boyfriend Jarrod whom she is now married to, as well. It catapulted the two to mainstream fame. The show's theme is that the contents of storage units on where rent hasn't been paid for three months is put on auction. Brandi and Jarrod of the Now and Then Thrift Store located in Orange California were part of this show hoping to get some cheap storage units. They had no idea that it would make them superstars in real life! In the course of the series, their couple became a star. It was their popularity on reality television that boosted the business. Along with running the shop they owned and operating a second one. Their appearance in "Storage Wars" also resulted in a spin-off series "Brandi and Jarrod: Married to Work' focusing on the couple.
